ASCAMM IS TRAINING PERSONAL FOR MOULDS AND DIES INDUSTRY
On December 30th, 15 selected students started the course “Trainer / programmer / a CNC machine tool” that a total of over 500 hours of teaching aims to train new professionals for the sector of molds and dies
The course, entirely funded by the Generalitat within the line “Form and List” contains as main modules machining parts with CNC (225 hours) and computer aided programming – CAD / CAM (250 hours) and is scheduled to
end of the July 10, 2015
Form and Inserts program run by the SOC which implies a minimum insertion of 60% of the trainees
The course is taught on the premises of the Ascamm Technology Center in the Parque Tecnológico del Vallés.

Hidrostock course
On Thursday, November 20th, at the premises of ASCAMM, ESPERIA, S.A. – HIDROSTOCK in collaboration with ASCAMM , wikll teach a course on practical applications of hydraulic cylinders for companies that want to get to know and understand how products Hidrostock integrate them into the mold assembly.
The course will present both mainstream and special cylinders (tandem rotary telescopic, etc.) and explain the practical applications for the design of molds.
This course is free upon registration. To be limited to the room capacity, registration will be accepted in order of arrival.
Training course in Design, Setting and Mechanization
ASCAMM organizes a training course for young people between 18 and 30 years, funded by the SOC (Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya).
The course regarding Design, Fit and Mechanization, to be held on the premises of ASCAMM Technology Center, will last 300 hours combining theory and practice in companies. Its begin is scheduled for September.
The objective of this course is to provide the sector with young people trained in design in 2D and 3D CAD, CNC and conventional mechanical fabrication and fit. Thanks to the agreement signed with the City participants Cerdanyola, based enterprises will be able to tailor the course to their needs.

How to export moulds and dies to Mexic
The seminar “How to export molds and dies to Mexico” was held successfully in ASCAMM facilities and attended by companies.
Mr. Josep Font, General Secretary of the ASCAMM Association presented the seminar remembering the importance of Mexico as the fourth largest buyer of molds and dies and that matters more than double what Spain produces in a year. Besides buying much of the tooling cost to countries like Catalan and remembered language is not a problem.
Mr. Carlos Fernandez, Director of VSI Mexico, insisted on the opportunities of the country as a major buyer of tools. He also explained the investments the automotive industry is making in the central part of Mexico. Attendees who requested could give an individual interview. View slideshow
Mr. Domènec Pijuan, Executive Secretary of the Association ASCAMM explained ASCAMM new services to help companies in their internationalization: Shared Representative and El Individual Promotion Programme. He also explained the trade mission to Mexico ASCAMM which is scheduled from 16 to 22 November and the group participation that is being organized for Plastimagen 2014(18th-21st November) show.
