The President of ASCAMM and Vice-President of EURECAT, Mr. Daniel Altimiras of DICOMOL, inaugurated the two Form i Insereix courses coordinated by the ASCAMM Association in collaboration with EURECAT.
In December 2016 ASCAMM started the course of Chip Removal Mechanization, which has a duration of 630 hours and will form 15 students, this course is taught in the premises of the Cal Molins Building in Sabadell. The President of ASCAMM wanted to meet the students personally to motivate them to make the most of the course given the demand of specialized staff in the molds and dies sector.
He also inaugurated the course of Machining for Abrasion, EDM and Other Special Procedures (CNC) that lasts for 630 hours and will form 15 more students. This course is being taught at the EURECAT Cerdanyola facilities at the Vallés Technology Park.
All students who will participate in these training actions have been selected with the aim of maintaining a high quality training level.
These two courses will be fully financed by the Generalitat de Catalunya through its Form i Insereix line, which requires a minimum insertion of 60% of the students graduated. These courses are intended to incorporate new professionals and / or to retrain staff from the metallurgical sector in mechanization, both with conventional and CNC machines.
